Goodbye #TeamSawi: Feng Shui tips for stronger love energy
Another year, another chance for romance? If you're not looking for love, that's totally fine — but if you're trying to find somebody to love, there's an app...and a Feng Shui tip for that.
Feng Shui consultant Johnson Chua in an interview with Unang Hirit on Thursday revealed that the secret lies in the bedroom. "Kasi ang bedroom ang nag-ho-hold ng love energy ng tao," Chua said.
His first advice? Keep it clean — a great advice, even if you're not looking for love!
A clean room invites good energy and keeping your home tidy is a staple tip for attracting good fortune from experts.
Getting into the specifics, Chua said that couples who want to keep their relationship strong may choose to do these things:
1. When choosing linen, pick those with plain or rounded patterns. Angular patterns on bed sheets and pillowcases should be avoided.
2. The side table should be even, Chua said and explained that "most likely kapag uneven ang table, magkakaroon ng uneven in terms of relationship." It's also better to have no side table than have just one side table, as it still encourages imbalance.
3. The headboard should be against the wall. If having it against a window is unavoidable, use yellow or green curtains to cover it.
4. Don't hang a clock on the wall. "Parang nagbibilangan," Chua explained.
5. Hang happy pictures of yourself together and avoid sad, unpleasant, abstract pictures.
For single people who want to attract love, they may also follow the same rules about the bed placement and the side tables.
Remember that it's better to have no side tables than to have just one. According to Chua, the idea is to "make space" for love in your life.
Aside from keeping dark images away from your room, Chua said that acquiring a rose quartz Mandarin Duck figurine will also help lead the one into your arms.
"Kasi ang Mandarin Duck, parang Lovebirds...na kung nawala 'yong isa, mawawala na rin 'yong isa. Parang they're born to be together," Chua said. — Aya Tantiangco, GMA News
