Ina Feleo remembers late father Johnny Delgado on Father's Day

On Father's Day, Kapuso actor Ina Feleo fondly recalled her father, actor Johnny Delgado.

Ina shared an old photo on Instagram and in the caption, said she remembers Johnny as the person who always made her feel comfortable in social events.

"When I was younger, I was painfully awkward when I had to attend social events. But my dad always found a way of making me more comfortable by sticking by my side all the time. At showbiz parties he would let me sit beside him and not at the kids’ table because he knew how that made me feel."

Ina narrated the photo she posted was taken during a wedding.

"I distinctly remember this photo taken during a wedding. I was getting nervous because I knew the photographer was coming to our direction and he squeezed my hand and told me to not look at the camera because its always better to take candid (or at least candid-looking) photos. I couldn’t, and started laughing. Hence, this awkward smiling photo of the both of us."

Never forced me to become anything other than myself. That moment when I understood that we were losing him is still the toughest moment of my life, because he was this person to me. The one who would hold my hand and get me through. I miss him everyday and it never really gets easier, but the weird life lessons remain. I love you Daddy! Thank you for being you. Ina said that like her, Johnny was "weird." He never even tried to change her to become someone else, and added losing her father who has been her rock was the "toughest."

She ended her lengthy heartfelt post with a greeting to her father.

"I miss him everyday and it never really gets easier, but the weird life lessons remain. I love you Daddy! Thank you for being you. Happy father’s day."
