Miss Spain posts a portion of the video tribute the Miss Universe organization gave her

One of the biggest moments at the 67th Miss Universe Monday (PHL time) was the video tribute that the Miss Universe organization gave Miss Spain Angela Ponce.

As we all know by now, Miss Spain made history by being the first transgender candidate of the beauty pageant.

After the video was shown, she took the stage, took off her sash, and held it up high triumphantly. The crowd stood in her honor.

Shortly after the pageant ended on Monday, Angela posted the most important bit of the video, where she said:

My hope for tomorrow, to be able to live in a world of equality for everyone. Simply for us all to understand that we are human and that we must make all our lives easier together. That reality f or many people is going to change. If I can give that to the world, I don’t need to win Miss Universe, I only need to be here.

On Tuesday, Angela again took to Twitter to spread her message of equality, inclusion, and love.

Translated to English, her message read,

It is important to bring visible changes in society it is necessary to speak of the realities of a community that is still not very visible if I have achieved that at least one more person, have a kind look with another, I will be satisfied with my work + LOVE + RESPECT + INCLUSION.
