12 of the sweetest moments in Kylie and Aljur’s wedding video

Famed wedding videographer Bob Nicolas released Kylie and Aljur’s wedding video on YouTube last December 27 and we’re still gushing.

Because beyond the grand details are sweet little moments that inform everybody of the love, the enormity of it, between the couple, their families, and their friends.

We listed down a dozen of our favorites below. To the newlyweds: Congratulations, again and again and again!

1. All their kissing moments. The video is generously peppered with so many micro-kissing moments between Kylie and Aljur, it’s easy to tell how attracted and in love they are with each other! See, they can’t seem to get their hands off each other!

2. That line off Aljur’s vows: “Buong buhay ko, hindi ko ninais o naisip ikasal. Ngunit nagbago ito nangmakilala kita.” It sounds eye-roll cheesy, especially to jaded and bitter individuals, but we can’t deny the truth: Tumagos eh.

3. Mariel Padilla’s emphatic, “oh my god.” When Mariel enters the salon to join members of her entourage, Mariel couldn’t help but let out an emphatic, “oh my god.” And then she stands up to kiss Kylie and continues, “you’re so beautiful.”

4. When Aljur and Robin shake hands and hug it out. So macho but also, we can't help but see a gentleman's agreement there.

5. All of Kylie’s giddy moments with her dad. The way she playfully hugged her Robin at the altar, and the way she jumped — in her wedding dress, if we may add — when Robin entered the salon where her entourage was; we can be the most beautiful woman in the world, but in our father’s arms, we stay their little daughter.

6. When Aljur’s mom rests her head on her son’s shoulder. It’s a quiet moment but one that’s full of joy.

7. When Kylie first appeared on the aisle and Aljur’s best man kept rubbing the groom’s back, on his first sight of his bride.

8. Kylie, Aljur, and Alas dancing. A beautiful moment, really.

9. When Aljur addressed Kylie’s parents and thanked them for the trust, love, understanding. Now we know he calls Robin, Pa and Liezl, Ma. We’re also loving his honest admission of their difficult road to the present. “Alam ko po hindi naging madali yung journey natin, pero ganun pa man, binuksan ninyo yung pintuhan para sa kin.”

10. When Kylie told Aljur’s parents, “mahal na mahal ko po anak niyo.” So simple and straightforward and yet it spoke volumes. We love how she added how much she loved them.

11. Kylie jumping in toward Aljur for a kiss. Too cute.

12. When Kylie looked into Aljur’s eyes and nodded, as if to confirm what she had just said: “Aalagaan kita.” — LA, GMA News
