Megan forgets Mikael's birthday, makes it up to him with a sweet birthday dedication
Miss World 2013 Megan Young did not only forget about her boyfriend Mikael Daez's birthday, she also overlooked the fact that it was also their 8th anniversary.
But Megan has a way with...Instagram. She quickly made it up to Mikael with a sweet post, sharing a series of photos that told of their moments through the years.
She wrote a sweet birthday greeting for her "fofo:"
Happy birthday to my coffee loving, food loving, game loving, Dragon Ball Z (last photo) loving... Fofo. thank you for making me a better person and for not only being there for me but also my siblings and my mom and lastly...Thank you for reminding me it was your birthday oh, and happy anniversary too. #labyu.
On Mikael's Instagram, he narrated what the two of them were doing 10 minutes before his birthday: talking about his birthday while they were playing Ragnarok.
"Understandably, boss hunts and monster slaying is quite an integral part of our lifestyle so my on-time birthday greeting had to take a backseat. She eventually forgot and I took it as an opportunity to socialize the whole event," Mikael narrated.
While he is not the kind of man who celebrates birthdays, Mikael admitted to often checking if Megan will remember to greet him.
"I’m not one to celebrate my birthday. I don’t even remember the last time I threw a party or a dinner. However, what I do remember, is to check whether or not Megan (whom i am ALWAYS with when the clock strikes 12) will remember to greet me!"
"This year, she forgot hahaha. That makes her a clean 50% on time greet-er???? not that i’m complaining. It’s a lovely quirk and i’m always guessing if she’ll remember or not," he added.
But a bonus to the quirk: According to Mikael, Megan also forgot their 8th anniversary.
"Not only did miss bata forget someone’s birthday, she also forgot a very important couple’s ANNIVERSARY. I shall let her reaction speak for itself. Oh btw, hi @meganbata coffee cheers to lucky 8 #YesIAskedHerOnMyBirthday #SureBallDawPagSaBirthdayEh
