Heart says she's become more involved in husband governor-elect Chiz's work in Sorsogon
Heart Evangelista said she has become more involved in her husband Chiz Escudero's work now that he's Sorsogon's governor-elect.
"A lot of people think he has more time but actually it’s the opposite. It’s like a little country that you have to govern and really take care of, and even for me, I feel that I’m working more — and I’m more needed there — than when he was a Senator," Heart told GMA reporters at the intimate launch of her L'Oreal lipstick collaboration.
The Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations said she enjoys being Sorsogon's "first lady" as it allows her to have "an intimate relationship with the people with Sorsogon."
"Although I’m really busy — I have a lot of out of the country — my first flight in is usually heading back to Sorsogon pero nae-enjoy ko siya. You really see that you’re making a difference,"Heart continued.
Heart who is known to be an animal advocate said she is already working on putting up an animal shelter in Sorsogon.
Aside from that Heart said she is also currently studying special education to help the kids in Sorsogon, "there’s a lot of projects that I would be busy with." — LA, GMA News
