Cedric Castillo dedicates short film for wife Rida Reyes

A day after marrying the love of his life, Cedric Castillo shared on his YouTube channel a short film he wrote for his wife Rida Reyes.

"Hindi Mo Lang Napapansin" features some of the newlyweds' moments together, including some bumps on the road they've conquered together.

Like a love letter, Cedric began by narrating little characteristics of Rida — how she does not notice how thrifty she is, her talkativeness all these years.

"Ang dami dami dami dami dami mong sinasabi. Eh ako, naniniwala naman," he said.

He detailed how he loved seeing Rida smile and laugh and how he would not trade anything in the world for it.

He also said how much he looks forward to more years with Rida and with their future child.

"Ang 'yong buhok kahit may pawis na sa anit, ang pilantik ng buo mong katawan 'pag kinikilig, at sa bawat haplos mo sa ating munting mahal, 'di mo lang napapansin, gustong-gusto kitang pinagmamasdan," he said.

"Hindi ko ipagpapalit sa kahit anong halaga ang tuwa sa iyong mga mata at ang pagmamahal mo sa buhay. Hindi mo lang siguro napapansin, ngumingiti ang paligid kapag nariyan ka."

Cedric also shared the time when Rida discovered a lump on her chest in 2018 that turned out to be cancer. That point in Rida's life was her lowest, Cedric said, but she kept her faith in the Lord. She received treatment and the cancer did not spread.

"Pero kahit pala ang pinakamasiyahing tao sa mundo, minsan hinahagupit din ng buhay," he began. "Minsan na kitang nakitang nalugmok, pinanghinaan at halos sumuko na dahil sa hapdi. Pero ang 'yong pananampalataya, hinding hindi nawala."

Towards the end of the video, Cedric said he looks forward to his future with the love of his life.

"Walang makapagsasabi kung ano ang hatid ng bukas pero alam mo, sa'yo ko lubas na naunawaang punong-puno pa rin ito ng ngiti kahit ang buhay ay simple lang," he said.

"At kahit ano pang pagsubok ang ibigay ng may likha, sana'y napapansin mong masayang masayang masaya ako kapag kasama kita," Cedric finished.

The short film was directed by Jepoi Mejia.

Cedric and Rida tied the knot at Vieux Chalet in Antipolo City last February 22, three months after getting engaged.
