We all love to hear meet-cute stories and how that's led to marriage. But how they fought for it is a whole other story.
A report on Monday's "Unang Balita" rounded up some celebrity couples whose steadfast love for each other won the fight "against all odds."
Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero
Take Heart Evangelista, for example, whose marriage with then-Senator Chiz Escudero did not go that smoothly with her parents.
According to the report, Mr. and Mrs. Ongpauco were no-shows at Heart's 2015 wedding ceremony. Thankfully, they accepted and welcomed their daughter's husband over time.
