This couple got married with their lolas as flower girls

Two very important people served as flower girls at a wedding ceremony held at the Kalibo Cathedral in Aklan.

As seen in their wedding video that has gone viral on social media, Herbert and Bernadette Saladar were taken to the altar by none other than their grandmothers, aged 83 and 86, playing the roles of flower girls.

According to a report on State of the Nation with Jessica Soho, the lolas were assigned to be the flower girls because they really wanted to be part of the entourage.

And so the seniors walked the aisle ahead of the bride and groom, carrying a banner that read "Here comes our apo."
