Vanessa Bryant remembers daughter Gianna on 14th birthday: 'I miss everything about you'
Vanessa Bryant shared a heartbreaking tribute to her daughter Gianna on what should have been her 14th birthday.
Posting a photo of a smiling Gianna on Instagram, Friday, Vanessa wrote, "Happy 14th Birthday to my sweet baby girl, Gianna. Mommy loves you more than I can ever show you."
"You are part of MY SOUL forever. I miss you so much everyday. I wish I could wake up and have you here with me," she added.
To commemorate Gianna's birthday on May 1, Vanessa asked fans to wear red or post an act of kindess.
"To commemorate Gigi’s birthday today, please consider wearing red, caption an act of kindness or show how you will play Gigi’s way since she always gave everything she did her all and led with kindness," Vanessa said in another Instagram post.
She also announced that they'll be selling a "Gigi Bryant Mambacita" bracelet soon and proceeds will go to their Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation.
Gianna's older sister Natalia, also paid tribute to her on the special day.
On Instagram, she wrote, " I miss your smile everyday but I know you’re always smiling down on us from heaven with daddy. I LOVE YOU."
In late January, Vanessa's husband and NBA Legend Kobe Bryant and their daughter Gianna perished in a helicopter crash, leaving fans devastated.
Seven other people were on board when the chopper crashed in a hilly terrain in Calabasas, California, leaving no survivors.
