Heart Evangelista books return flight ticket of fan stranded in Dubai

A fan has revealed that actress Heart Evangelista came to her rescue and booked her return flight ticket when she encountered a problem in Dubai.

During the “Bawal Judgmental” segment of “Eat Bulaga” Monday, Nes Almario, a member of the fan club Heart World for 16 years now, said Heart may be “maarte … pero mabuti siyang tao.”

Heart, who had invited fans to her home for dinners and breakfasts, once came to the rescue when Nes had a problem in Dubai.

“Noong nagpunta kasi ako sa Dubai nagkaproblema ako tapos parang ayoko siya lalapitan pero no choice na talaga ako,” shared Nes.

According to a report by PEP.ph, Nes had a problem with her employer in Dubai back in October 2017.

Because of personal reasons, she couldn’t finish her contract and had to pay her employer for the expenses incurred in bringing her to Dubai.

After paying her debt, Nes encountered problems flying back home to the Philippines.

She said it was then Sen. Chiz Escudero’s birthday even and early in the morning when she sent a message to Heart, who quickly replied to her.

“Pinatawag niya sa ’kin ’yung attorney ni Senator Chiz hanggang sabi niya, ‘kelangan mo makaalis diyan, gagawa ako ng paraan,’” said Nes.

“Sabi niya, ‘I don't know how to book. Ito card ko, ikaw mag-book ng ticket mo pauwi.’ ’Yun po ginawa niya.”

Nes revealed that her ticket cost Php 23,000.

After coming back home, Nes said Heart would frequently message her just to know if she had found a job and if she was doing okay.

“Ganoon po siya kabait. Hindi po alam ng ibang tao,” Nes said. “Hindi lang alam ng tao ’yun. Hindi lang niya sinasabi ’yung mga tinutulungan niya. Hindi lang pinopost sa social media.”

Giving her message to Heart, Nes said: “Hearty, thank you sa lahat ng tulong, sa mga natulong mo sakin dati. Thank you for saving me. Alam mo mahal na mahal kita. Hindi kita iiwan.”

“Eat Bulaga” then presented her a surprise video greeting from Heart.

“Nes, thank you so much for being a part of Heart World for the longest time,” Heart told Nes, “but also for being a friend and part of my family. You’ve always been there for me and I’m just so blessed to have angels like you in this world,” the actress said.
