Father teaches basic lessons to his kids while family is quarantined at classroom

With a black board and some leftover chalk, a father and his kids were able to make the most out of their quarantine time inside a classroom in Bago City, Negros Occidental.

According to a report on “Unang Balita” Thursday, Bon Silaya and his family are among the locally stranded individuals from Metro Manila who are finally able to return to their hometown.

Upon their arrival in Bago, however, they had to stay temporarily at one of the city’s quarantine facilities, which happened to be a classroom.

As seen on video, Silaya passed the time by teaching his children basic lessons like reading, counting, and writing, as well as identifying shapes, colors, and fruits, among other topics.

Public transportation has been limited since the government imposed strict lockdown measures in an attempt to slow down the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
