Gwen Zamora, David Semerad look back at farm life, explain why they chose to spend quarantine there
In their latest vlog post, Gwen Zamora and fiance David Semerad looked back at their farm life and explained why they chose to stay there amid the quarantine period.
In the video, Gwen and David answered questions from some of their subscribers, from their new home in Manila.
According to Gwen, there are two main reasons they stayed in Batangas: (1) to escape and (2) for safety purposes.
"The first thing that came to mind was we needed to kind of escape to a safe haven especially because back in Manila we were staying in a condo unit, which was more risky especially with the virus," she explained.
She said their Batangas farm was less crowded and so safer especially for their one-year-old Cooper.
The two reminisced on their chill time at the farm, having coffee in the morning, hanging out with their son Cooper, taking care of their dog, preparing meals, taking naps, having afternoon walks and doing house chores.
"At the farm, I had more time to focus on food and we had the abundance of produce that we could play around with and we always got fresh seafood, we got fresh meat," she said.
Gwen said they were also able to see and focus on their child's milestones at the farm.
Aside from their chill moments, the two also did some DIY building on the extension of their balcony which is under construction.
