Mother reunites with lost son after appearing on ‘Bawal Judgmental’

After appearing as a contestant on “Bawal Judgmental,” a woman was reunited with her son who had gone missing for more than a year, as announced on “Eat Bulaga!” Wednesday.

During last week’s “Bawal Judgmental” segment on “Eat Bulaga!”, Muriel Morena, among other contestants who were invited to speak about their lost relatives, shared how she’s been looking for her son Earl John since July 2019.

Fortunately, with the help of “Eat Bulaga!”, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and the Angeles City local government, Earl John was found and finally reunited with his mom in Cavite on Tuesday.

According to Metro Psych Facility in Pasig City, Earl John has been staying with them for the past few months.

“After the help of Angeles City, he’s been with us for months. We are so amazed that he survived,” said Metro Psych Facility general manager Marywynne Rivera.

“Hindi siya nagsasalita, hindi niya masabi ’yung nararamdaman niya,” he added.

After getting clearance from the facility, the son was brought to Cavite to meet his mother.

“Napakabuti po ng puso niyo, nagkita na po ulit kami,” Muriel said, crying as she thanked everyone who helped her find her son again. “Malaking blessing po samin na natagpuan ko na anak ko.” – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
