Troy Montero looks back on emotional reunion with Aubrey Miles when she joined 'Survivor Philippines'
Troy Montero took to Instagram to post a couple of throwback photos of his reunion with his partner Aubrey Miles, back when she was a contestant in GMA-7's "Survivor Philippines."
On his Instagram account, Troy posted a photo of the two of them hugging each other and asked, "Do you remember when Aubrey joined Survivor Philippines?"
"Somewhere near the end, they have an episode called 'Loved Ones Visit.' I remember walking out onto the beach where she would see me standing there," Troy narrated.
According to Troy, the show's production team asked him "not to wear cologne or any kind of fragrant lotion because the survivors' senses are so strong they will pick it up and be probably become even more homesick since they are absent of those types of luxuries."
Troy recalled they met on the beach and embraced "as if we haven’t seen each other in years."
The second photo showed Aubrey was seen leaning his head on Troy's chest, and he recalled asking her how she told him it was the hardest thing she's ever done but that Aubrey said, "I can do it. I know I can do it. I can win this... I felt so proud of her and still do till this day."
Aubrey and Troy have two children together Rocket and Hunter. The actress has a 17-year-old son named John Maurie from a previous relationship. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
