Couple pose as Adam and Eve in prenup photo shoot

A couple caught the attention of netizens after they posed as Adam and Eve in their prenuptial photoshoot.

In the photos, Kath Umbajeno and Aguinaldo Jr. Tan looked like they wore nothing but leaves to cover their body parts.

The shots were taken by Edward Namare of Asterisc Photography.

In an interview with GMA News Online, the bride-to-be said they just wanted a simple shoot.

“Casual lang po sana kasi gusto po namin, huwag masyado gumastos para sa wedding po namin,” Kath said.

Kath and Aguinaldo were already shooting their sweet moments outdoors for their prenuptial photos as scheduled when it suddenly rained.

The couple and the Asterisc Photography team had to think on their feet and decided on the Adam and Eve concept on the spot.

“’Yung intention lang talaga ng team is matuloy ang shoot, kahit medyo maulan,” said a team member from Asterisc Photography.

“Nag-prepare na po kami ng outfit, then naisipan namin na mag-leaves concept dahil if gagamitin namin ang outfit habang umuulan baka wala na sila masusuot if ever na hihinto ang ulan. And good news by 1 p.m. naging OK na panahon,” they added.

Kath said she and Aguinaldo knew each other since they were neighbors in Barangay Upper Tibanban, Governor Generoso, in Davao Oriental.

The two were in a relationship in 2018 and broke up in 2019 but when the pandemic happened, they crossed paths again and got back together. The two then decided to tie the knot.

Kath and Aguinaldo’s wedding is scheduled on Jan. 8, 2021.

The photos were taken just beside the bride’s home in Upper Tibanban, a place that played a special role in their love story and how they met. – RC, GMA News
