Sam Y.G. is now engaged!

After officially being a couple in 2018, Sam Y.G. and his non-showbiz girlfriend Essa Santos are now moving to a new chapter in their lives.

In an Instagram post Tuesday, the former “Eat Bulaga” cohost announced the good news by sharing a photo of them during the moment he proposed.

“Essa ‘YES.’ ‘Let me love you for the rest of my life?’” he wrote.

He also shared a photo of his soon-to-be-wife on his story saying, “Soon to be Mrs. G.”

Essa also shared photos of their special moment, including one where they were hugging.

“I ugly-cried the whole time. Have to say I did not expect this proposal at all—I kinda wish I did para mas prepared ako, but it makes for a great story anyway!” she wrote.
