This couple's prenup photos were shot using only an iPhone

Ever wonder if you can shoot prenup photos with just your phone's camera?

Cay Benitez, a wedding photographer, tried it with one of his clients and the results looked absolutely good!

Using just an iPhone 11, iPhone XR, and a portable LED light, he produced images which can rival those shot using DSLRs.

"It was my idea to do the shoot, and I pitched it to the couple and surprisingly they said yes," Cay told GMA News Online in an email. "The concept was born on our Japan trip last 2019, my photographer friend used the Huji app as backup shots on one of their prenup shoots."

According to Cay, there are limitations when using a phone for a shoot especially in terms of camera framing, but there are also advantages.

Aside from using much lighter equipment, he can get the help of photo apps like Huji and Filmlike.

"One thing I love shooting on the phone is you get the edited photo immediately, unlike on the usual cameras wherein you need to do the editing on your desktop or laptop," Cay said.

His clients, Marc and Allysiu, posed both during the daytime and nighttime and they were satisfied with the final product.

"They were beyond happy with the photos! And surprised that we were able to produce those exquisite shots with just a phone," he said.
