This Valentine’s Day, welcome love into your life by adopting shelter pets
With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, it won’t hurt to open your heart to someone new—especially if we’re talking about fur babies.
MARS Petcare, which handles animal food brands Pedigree and Whiskas, is spearheading an adoption program to help homeless pets find their forever homes and families this Valentine’s Day.
“Adopting a shelter animal can be a most fulfilling, life-changing experience for the adopter and the chosen animal. These homeless animals can bring so much joy into people’s lives,” said Phua Fui Ching of MARS Petcare.
“As an advocate of responsible pet ownership, we at MARS Petcare hope that through this Valentine’s Day campaign, we are able to provide access and education to pet owners and spark an interest in others to find a pet to adopt and love from the shelter,” she added.
The adoption drive will run from Feb. 13 to 15 in partnership with the City Veterinarian Office of Imus. MARS Petcare will provide a one month supply of pet food to those who will successfully sign up for adoption within these dates.
This is to ensure that the pets will be in good health and for the adopters to have an easier time adjusting.
For interested parties, the signup link will be available on MARS Petcare’s official Shopee and Lazada pages starting Feb. 13.
A livestream will also be held on Feb. 15 at the Pedigree Official store on Shopee and Lazada, where more details on the adoption process will be discussed. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
