Kris Aquino, Bimb, and Josh reunite

Kris Aquino on Instagram shared a snippet of her reunion with son Josh, who finally visited her in Manila after moving to Tarlac in December.

"Our probinsiyano is here to visit us, visit me," Kris said happily as she hugged her firstborn.

"Pero may schedule," she quickly upended the excitement. "Kakarating mo pa lang babalik ka na agad," she teased Josh.

Bimb, Kris' youngest, was also present during the early minutes of the reunion but excused himself  because of online classes.

In the video, Kris revealed that Josh had moved to Tarlac the day after Christmas, where he'd been jogging and enjoying the fresh air.

According to Kris, Josh's decision to move to Tarlac was largely informed by his closeness to his lola, ex-President Cory Aquino.

She narrated how during Josh's growing years, Kris had been so busy with work that his school programs and parent-teacher-conferences were attended by his lola. 

"It was my mom ang pumuno sa lahat ng yon, so I can truly understand kung bakit gusto niya duon," Kris said.

In fact, Josh now sleeps in his lola's room and on his lola's bed, Kris also revealed. "Mahirap labanan ang memories ng lola," she said.

Kris, who herself will be moving out of Manila to a beachfront house in "the province," asked Josh if he'd like to join them at the beach, but Josh declined.

"Super happy," Josh repeatedly answered his mom, when Kris would ask how he was.
