Derek Ramsay on being with Ellen Adarna: ‘Friends, family say the real Derek is back’

Derek Ramsay has said that being with Ellen Adarna has brought back “the real” him.

“It’s different. It’s not the kilig stage for me. It’s like what I’ve been looking for for, like, the 44 years,” the actor said during Nelson Canlas’ exclusive interview with the new couple.

“Para akong bumalik sa high school,” Derek said.

“I really like who I am when I’m around her and it reflects so much that my friends, my family say the real Derek is back. Where has this guy been for the last decade? Because I’ve been a serious guy.”

The actor said that one night with Ellen brought him back 15 years in the past.

“It’s just getting stronger and stronger every day. I really like who I am,” Derek said. “Now that Derek is back who just loves life filled with energy, and motivated.”

The couple also said they felt at peace and calm with each other, despite being “both alphas” and having “very strong personalities.”

The two first met in January and confirmed their relationship in late February. They celebrated their first month together last week.

Rumors of them dating first sparked early in January when they were seen getting cozy with each other at a dinner party with Ruffa Gutierrez. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
