Mikee Quintos, Kelvin Miranda say they make each other ‘kilig’

Mikee Quintos and Kelvin Miranda are not finished making everyone’s hearts flutter and proving that they are a great tandem.

In an online interview with the press on Thursday, the two “The Lost Recipe” lead stars revealed that what made them “kilig” was each other.

“Tingnan ko pa lang siya, kinikilig na ’ko (just one look at her gives me a thrill),” Kelvin said about Mikee, who in turn shared that she loved his humor the most. 

According to Mikee, she’s quite “conscious” with her laugh because it’s loud but with Kelvin, she doesn’t mind being all out.

She also said she sometimes saw how Kelvin’s eyes would light up whenever he caught her opening up about things she usually kept to herself.

On Wednesday, Mikee and Kelvin released their first song together titled “Two of a Kind.”

Finishing “The Lost Recipe” and gaining a lot of new fans, the two said they were not pressured to make their supporters feel “kilig” in their next projects together.

“That’s why [our tandem] worked somehow ’cause we weren’t pressured like we weren’t really trying,” Mikee said.

“Kung hindi tayo kinikilig sa isa’t-isa, hindi rin sila kikiligin sa ’tin so masaya ako na nararamdaman nila ’yung nararamdaman natin,” Kelvin added. 

[If we are not thrilled with each other, our fans will not be thrilled with us too, so I am happy that they are feeling what we are feeling.]

Asked if they were officially dating, Mikee and Kelvin told GMA News Online that they were “taking [their] time” and enjoying each other’s company.

While both of them did not believe in the existence of an “ideal partner,” Mikee said it’s possible for her to see Kelvin that way because he knew how to listen to her.

They said they both looked forward to working with each other for a long time and just the thought of it made them incredibly happy.

“Masaya ako kasi nakilala namin ’yung isa’t isa. Nawala ’yung barriers, ’yung walls, as in sobrang komportable namin. Masaya ako, Mikee,” Kelvin said.

[I am happy because we got to know each other. The barriers, the walls are gone, as in we are too comfortable with each other. I am happy, Mikee.]

“Masaya ako (I am happy). I wanna work with Kelvin more,” Mikee said. – RC, GMA News
