Britain’s Royal Family greets Harry and Meghan’s son Archie a happy birthday

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie is two and on social media, the Royal Family didn’t dare to miss it.

Posting a photo from two years ago when Harry and Meghan first introduced their little one to the media, the official Royal Family account wrote in the caption, "Wishing Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a very happy 2nd birthday today" complete with a balloon emoji.

According to the post, the shot was taken by photographer Dominic Lipinski from Queen Elizabeth’s Press Association.

Posting a family photo taken by Chris Allerton on Archie's christening on their official IG account, the Duke and Duchess also wished Archie "a very happy 2nd birthday today."

The photo showed Prince Harry, Meghan, and Archie surrounded by Prince William and Catherine, Prince Charles and Camilla, Meghan's mom, to name a few.

And finally, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Philip and Camilla, also greeted the little one a happy birthday.

Posting a black and white photo of Archie held by his dad Prince Harry with Prince Philip looking on, Clarence House wrote, "Happy birthday to Archie, who turns two today."

In March, Prince Harry and Meghan revealed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that the British royals were worried about how dark Archie's skin would be before his birth, resulting in him not getting the prince title.

The interview followed the royal couple stepping down as working members of the British Royal Family in February. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
