Kean Cipriano thanks, honors his family on Father’s Day

On Father’s Day, Kean Cipriano took to Instagram to dedicate a sweet and heartfelt letter to his wife Chynna Ortaleza and their kids Stellar and Salem.

In his post, Kean said he thought of the day as a “good chance” to share “how I really feel.”

“I’m tired. I’m exhausted with work, chores, the pandemic, stuff happening in the country, figuring myself out, the society—with everything,” he wrote in a mix of English and Filipino.

With all these, Kean said, what keeps him “okay” every day is seeing his loved ones sleeping soundly at night. He also shared that he wants lots of things to become reality.

“I want lots of things to happen. I have lots of dreams. For myself, for you, for other people.”

Despite all of his goals, though, Kean said his most important dreams have already been granted: creating music and building a family.

“I’m living the dream and I want to know you more. With every phase that I’m about to face in life, I want it all to happen with you,” he said.

“I just want to thank and honor you on this day because you gave me the chance to become a father,” he continued.

Towards the end, he reminisced on what his own father told him: “Madaling maging ama. Mahirap magpaka-ama [It’s easy to be a father. It’s hard to be a dad].”

“Gusto ko magpaka-ama. Araw-araw [I want to be a dad. Every day],” Kean wrote.

“Everyday is a happy father’s day because of you three. I’m just here, always loving and joking around,” he ended, adding the word “dad” at the bottom.

The letter was followed by a series of their family photos where they’re seen happy together.

Earlier Sunday, Chynna also took to Instagram her appreciation for Kean for Father’s Day.
