Heart and mom Cecile both agree: Past problems between them were 'a nightmare'

In her latest vlog post on YouTube, Heart Evangelista featured her mother Cecilie and her sister Camille as they bonded in the kitchen, taking about parenting, their memories growing up, and a bit about love and relationships.

Right in the beginning of the vlog, Heart recalled her mom's last interview on YouTube, which the Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaboration described as "horrible."

"The last time that people saw you on YouTube it was pretty awkward because it was your horrible interview."

Looking embarrassed, Cecile rolled her eyes and said, "That was a nightmare."

"That was a nightmare for everyone," Heart agreed. "But now you're back [on YouTube] and you'll be cooking with Camille."

PEP.ph traced the interview to 2013, when Cecile faced reporters to call out Heart's behavior and plead with her daughter.

"We didn't raise her [Heart] that way," a clearly distraught Cecile said back then. "Heart, your dad does not deserve this," she continued, addressing her celebrity daughter.

According to PEP.ph, the old conflict between Heart and her parents had something to do with Heart's husband, Chiz Escudero. 

Heart's vlog features a complete 180 turnaround from Cecile, as Chiz made a brief appearance in the video.

"Hug nga kayo! Hug nga!" Heart joked Heart and Cecile.

Heart's mom told them what she liked about their marriage: "You allow each other to grow."

Chiz responded with a joke, saying "More me allowing her."

Cecilia said Chiz is already "full grown" but he never hinders Heart's growth.

"He allows her to grow and mature on her own," she added.
