Jennica Garcia celebrates daughter Athena Mori’s 6th birthday
Jennica Garcia celebrated the sixth birthday of her eldest daughter Athena Mori.
On Thursday, the actress shared a photo with her two kids at what looked like an intimate birthday party.
“Happy [sixth] birthday Ate Mori!” she wrote. “I am in awe of how you embrace the role of being a big sister to Alessi with so much joy and patience.”
Jennica also detailed how Mori grew to accept and understand “what it meant to be a follower of Christ” from when she was five, saying that the child would always ask guidance from above.
According to the actress, she would explain to her daughter after praying that “we are all born sinners and it is natural for people to be greedy.”
However, she also said “we are given the gift of the Holy Spirit so we can discern what is right from wrong” and change one’s attitude accordingly.
“We may not be rewarded the way we want to in this world and that’s okay because we are not from this world but from up above,” she said.
“When we reach heaven, we will all be rewarded accordingly.”
Toward the end of her post, Jennica dedicated a short message to her daughter, saying that she honored and praised her in the “name of Jesus.”
“We’re super rich with love from God and it gives me great comfort in seeing your living your life with Christ in mind at a very young age,” she said.
“I am so proud of you. All praises to our Abba Father! Happy Birthday Athena Mori!”
Her estranged husband Alwyn Uytingco, meanwhile, marked their second daughter Alessi’s third birthday last month through Instagram.
Jennica confirmed her split from Alwyn in May. She and their children moved into a new place shortly after to “start fresh.”
