Marian Rivera marks 7 years since Dingdong Dantes’ public proposal

It’s been seven years since Dingdong Dantes publicly proposed to Marian Rivera on GMA-7.

To mark the occasion, Marian shared a nearly six-minute video of the iconic event, where in the presence of family and fans, Dingdong surprised her with a proposal.

“I want to shout to the whole world that you are the answer to my prayers,” Dingdong said in Filipino.

While kneeling, he pulled the ring out and popped the question: “Please, Marian, will you be my wife?” To which, Marian just sealed it with a sweet kiss and a hug.

She also shared a series of photos from the video, where Dingdong is seen putting the ring on her finger and of them kissing.

“[Seven] years today,” the Kapuso Primetime Queen wrote in the caption of her post.

As of writing, the video has 6,000 reactions, 220 comments and 10 million views.

Dingdong proposed to Marian in 2012. They tied the knot in December 2014 and are set to mark their 7th wedding anniversary this year.
