Kris Aquino pens heartfelt post about Josh, family on mom Cory’s birthday
Kris Aquino commemorated her late mother President Cory Aquino’s birthday with a heartfelt message about the importance of family in her life.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the celebrity host shared an art card with the text “Other things may change us but we start and end with family.”
Kris began her lengthy caption by sharing she just experienced a “bad uticaria flare” and an elevated BP.
She and her youngest son Bimby had also been isolating at home, pending their last RT PCR test.
Nevertheless, Kris expressed gladness that her eldest, Josh, had gone to spend time with the family of her cousin, Marla, after completing his 14-day quarantine.
“It was because of Kuya’s time in our Tarlac Cojuangco compound that we rekindled ties, especially with the children & grandchildren of my mom’s 2 brothers,” she explained.
Kris had said in an earlier post that her cousin Maria, had passed last Friday, January 21.
On Thursday, Kris said she assured Josh it was okay for him to go back to Tarlac to be with their grieving Cojuangco family because it was his grandmother’s birthday and that they were “the closest & dearest to him.”
“This art card was sent to me by my Ate… like other families nagkakatampuhan, nagkaka-misunderstandings, and minsan nag aaway pa rin kaming 4,” Kris said.
“But because of what i’m now going through my 3 older sisters know their baby sister needs them now more than ever," she said.
“Happy Birthday mom, your children are 100% united- exactly what you had always prayed for," Kris ended her post.
Kris Aquino has revealed that she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and she shares health updates on her Instagram every once in a while.
She recently cried foul over recent “fake news,” denying reports that she was in critical condition in the ICU. — LA, GMA News
