Ruru Madrid, Kylie Padilla cry, open up in new vlog episode

Ruru Madrid and Kylie Padilla shed some tears as they talked about their friendship and relationships in a new vlog episode.

Released Thursday, the video featured the two “Encantadia” stars as they opened up about their partners, being professionals at work, and self-love.

At one point, both of them were in tears as Kylie recalled her life before she got pregnant.

“Aalis ako, magtatrabaho. Wala akong kasama sa bahay, sa condo,” Kylie told Ruru.

“So sobrang lungkot ko noon tapos bina-bash pa ako. Naiiyak na ’ko,” she said as she wiped tears, even as she kept laughing.

“Minsan nakakapag-isip ako na bakit pa ko nandito, like what’s my purpose? So noong nabuntis ako, happy ako kasi may purpose na,” she added.

“Grabe naiiyak ako,” said Ruru, who also tried to downplay his emotions by laughing.

“Pagdating sa mga bata talaga, I mean wala pa akong baby pero …” he trailed off as he and Kylie kept goofing around.

Kylie also admitted that since she became a single mom, she had more time to take care of herself.

Ruru, meanwhile, emphasized the importance of self-love, saying placing oneself first was not the same as being selfish.

He also said he appreciated his friendship with Kylie, and the fact that they did not have a romantic relationship while they were working together.

“Aminado ako na kapag meron akong mga leading ladies, sometimes kung saan saan napupunta,” said Ruru.

To which Kylie couldn’t help but burst into solid laughter.

“Delikado talaga. Hindi ko ide-deny ’yun. Pero sa ating dalawa, hindi tayo umabot sa ganoon eh. Wala tayong ganoon,” he added.

“’Yun siguro yung nagging advantage natin, na mas nauna ’yung pagiging professional then eventually lumalabas ’yung pagkakaibigan,” said Ruru.

“Ang ganda non,” said Kylie.

“’Di gaya nung uunahin mo yung …” said Ruru.

“Landi,” Kylie continued, to which both of them just laughed.
