SEVENTEEN member Wonwoo’s mother passed away on Wednesday morning.

The K-pop group’s agency PLEDIS Entertainment announced the news through online fan community app Weverse and asked fans to give the artist some personal time.

“SEVENTEEN member Wonwoo’s mother passed away this morning from an illness,” it said.

“Wonwoo is currently at the funeral hall, and the funeral will be held with family and close friends,” it added.

“We ask for your kind consideration and support so that Wonwoo can have a period of mourning with his family.”
