Scarlet Snow Belo, dad Hayden Kho reenact ‘Bituing Walang Ningning’ copycat scene

Scarlet Snow Belo shows her acting chops as she and dad Hayden Kho reenact a scene from a classic Filipino film!

On Friday, Scarlet’s Instagram page shared a video of the 7-year-old girl and her dad acting out an iconic scene from the 1985 film “Bituing Walang Ningning.” 

In the film, the character Lavinia Arguelles says the lines, “You’re nothing but a second-rate, trying hard, copycat!” before slapping Dorina Pineda.

Playing Lavinia to Hayden’s Dorina, Scarlet couldn’t help but laugh as she uttered the lines and jokingly hit her dad’s face.

“You have to look serious,” Hayden told her, as both of them laughed. Meanwhile, mom Vicki Belo could be heard telling Scarlet to “internalize” and “breathe.”

After several tries, they finally got the scene on their fifth attempt.

“I think I finally got it on my fifth try,” said Scarlet’s caption, adding, “this is just acting, ok. I didn’t really slap Daddy. I wouldn’t dare!”
