Robredo’s daughters fangirl over Taylor Swift during graduation at NYU

Vice President Leni Robredo’s three daughters couldn’t help but fangirl over Taylor Swift, who also received a degree from New York University.

On Thursday, the Vice President shared a video she took of her daughters Aika, Tricia, and Jillian, who were focused on the screen as they watched the singer deliver her speech during the graduation rites.

At one point, Jillian could be seen close to tears and shouting “Dr. Taylor Swift” toward the end.

As of writing, the video has received over 870,000 views, 178,000 likes, and 600 comments from supporters of both the Robredo ladies and Taylor.

Taylor was conferred a doctorate degree in fine arts, honoris causa. In her speech, she told fellow graduates that everything would be all right, and the future was totally up to them.

Jillian, meanwhile, graduated from NYU with a bachelor of arts degree, major in economics and mathematics. She flew to New York with her mom and sisters early this week.
