Jelai Andres mourns passing of dogs Kitty and Neko

Jelai Andres on YouTube Thursday shared the heartbreaking news of her dogs Kitty and Neko passing away.

The 22-minute video uploaded on her channel showed how Jelai was only informed of their passing, with her family bringing her dogs' ashes to her in a box.

"Ang sakit-sakit kasi dalawa at mag-ina," Jelai said as she wept.

According to her family, they knew something was wrong when Neko unusually didn't greet them at the gate. Meanwhile, Kitty jumped at their arrival but quickly turned and abruptly stopped.  

"Si whitie, mamula-mula din. Nanginginig. Pero kaya niya. Nabuhay," said Jelai's friend. 

They alleged the dogs were poisoned, just two of a few more that died within their village.

"Trick ba 'to?" Jelai asked clearly distraught. "May nanglalason ba ng mga aso sa subdivision?"

"Kung target yung mga stray, hindi stray yung mga napatay niyo. At kahit stray, inaapon nga namin yung mga stray eh. Kung stray yung pinapatay, mali yan. Wag kayo pumatay ng stray," she added.

As Jelai asked the help of organizations like Pawssion Project and Paws, she said she will have the deaths of Neko and Kitty investigated. They began combing through CCTV footage to get to the bottom of the issue.

"Parte po ng pamilya yung mga alaga, 'wag niyo po patayin," she pleaded. "Walang kalaban-laban yung mga aso."
