Couples in Malaybalay, Bukidnon celebrating 50th wedding anniversary set to get cash incentive

Couples in Malaybalay, Bukidnon who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary may avail of a cash incentive from the local government unit, according to a report on "Saksi."

GMA RTV's "One Mindanao" reported that the Golden Wedding Anniversary ordinance, which was passed by the Malaybalay City Council, the couple will receive P50,000 in cash.

The ordinance is a way of recognizing the couple for giving value to the wedding vows they exchanged with each other.

The local government unit also recognizes that the good foundation of the family results into a good community.

The requirements to avail of the cash incentive, the couple should bring their marriage certificate and proof that they are residents of Malaybalay City at the Office of the Senior Citizen's Affairs. -- BAP, GMA News
