Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting another baby 2 years after pregnancy loss
Nearly two years after losing their third child to stillbirth, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting a rainbow baby.
Chrissy revealed her growing baby bump on Instagram and wrote an emotional caption.
“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. [One] billion shots later (in the leg lately, as [you] can see!) we have another on the way,” she said.
The shots are from undergoing in-vitro fertilization treatments, which Chrissy talked about in February.
The model and media personality said that she had been apprehensive to announce that they are expecting another baby after their tragic loss in 2020.
“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still," she said.
“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing,” she added. “It’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
Chrissy and John got married in 2013. They have two kids, daughter Luna and son Miles.
Chrissy’s pregnancy with their third child Jack was filled with complications. In October 2020, she announced that she had lost her baby. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
