Boyfriend and girlfriend both graduate magna cum laude from UP

A couple from University of the Philippines achieved major relationship goals as the two both graduated magna cum laude.

According to Victoria Tulad's report on "24 Oras," Claire Grecia and Lester Neil Rendaje met when they were freshmen. Claire studied chemistry while Lester took civil engineering.

The pair, who has been together for four years, said their relationship did not affect their studies and even served as inspiration as they pursued their dreams.

"Study buddy kami. Motivation ko rin siya na magkamit ng high marks sa klase," said Lester. 

"If you have a love life, hindi naman siya necessarily makakasira siya kaagad sa studies mo if you know just know your priorities and you focus on your priorities," Claire added.

Meanwhile, twin sisters Margaret Esther "Marge" Cruz and Madelyn Esther "Mads" Cruz both graduated summa cum laude from UP Diliman after just three years.
