Jaya and family move into new home after fire engulfed their old one

Jaya took to social media late Sunday to share with everyone the good news: She and her family have finally moved into their new home, after a fire razed their old one earlier this month.

"Aug. 19 is our Day 1 into our new home," she wrote on Instagram as the singer thanked those who helped her and her family in the recent difficult episode of their lives.

"Your love, prayers, encouragement and those who gave from the heart, we will always lift you up in prayers," she added.

After promising a video, Jaya ended her update with a little thanksgiving prayer: "Thank you Lord for new beginnings."

News about Jaya's US home being engulfed in a fire made headlines last August 8. She also took to Instagram to not only show the damages of the fire but to inform everybody that they are safe.

Nearly two weeks later, Jaya shared the good new of finding a new home and her husband, a new job.

Along with her family, Jaya returned to the US in 2021 after experiencing hardships brought about by the pandemic. — LA, GMA News
