Aicelle Santos pens heart-wrenching poem for late mom: 'Balang araw alam ko mayayakap kang muli'

Aicelle Santos wrote a beautiful and heart-wrenching poem for her mother Leonila "Onnie" Santos, who recently passed away.

The renowned theater singer and actress shared a photo of her mom enjoying a view of the mountains on Instagram, and expressed her sorrow through the poem.

"Sa bawat gabing pagtulog/ Ay patak ng luhang pag-agos/ Pag tahimik na ang lahat/ Ikaw lang ang hanap," she wrote. "Balang araw alam ko/ Mayayakap kang muli/ Makikita ang iyong ngiti."

"Pero ngayon, iiiyak muna/ Padadaanin ang panahon/ Titingala muna sa iyo, sa langit."

Aicelle's friends and fans sent her words of comfort in the comments section.

Leonila Santos passed away in November. She fell into a coma after suffering from cardiac arrest.
