Andi Eigenmann says one of the best things about their island life is the learnings

Andi Eigenmann shared another great part about their simple island life — how an “ordinary beach day is often transformed into a great day of learning or acquiring new skills.”

In an Instagram Reel, Andi shared clips of her kids Lilo and Koa during low tide, who were playing with soft sand.

“So papa [Andi’s fiancé Philmar Alipayo] taught us how to make sand balls using both the wet mushy gray sand and some dry white sand from the shore,” she said, adding that it’s similar to making cement.

Philmar showed off his skills in making them and how the kids enjoyed the process.

“We've got science, math, arts, [physical education], history [and] geography all in one,” Andi added.

Andi said that these experiences are “one of the best things about our island life.”

Called the Happy Islanders, Andi, Philmar, their two kids, and Andi’s daughter Ellie, are based in Siargao. They also own a surfing school and snack bar.
