BamBam of GOT7 explains why he doesn't want to get married
BamBam of GOT7 revealed that he would rather focus on his own happiness than getting married.
Citing an episode of SBS' "Master in the House 2," a Soompi report said BamBam explained his take when he and the cast were debating on whether it was better to tie the knot or remain single.
"We don't have much free time for ourselves, and in the case of idols, we're always in hotels," he said. "Because of that, I don't want to have my life taken away from me by anyone from now on."
"Do you know what I mean? I want to be really happy on my own, and I don't want to live my life walking on eggshells around anyone," he added.
BamBam shared that he saw his eldest brother, who got married just recently, months ago.
"He says he's happy, and he has a kid, a son, who's about three years old now," he said. "And when I saw his face for the first time in a long while, I felt kind of sorry for him."
"It was not his usual face, the one I am used to. How should I put it? It seemed like he had aged really quickly all of a sudden."
As of this writing, the report has attracted numerous comments from fans expressing their support.
"Master in the House 2" said like BamBam, six out of 10 unmarried individuals in their twenties to thirties said in a recent survey that they do not feel the need to get married.
BamBam, popular for hits including "riBBon" and "Slow Mo," came to the Philippines for "K-Pop Masterz in Manila" last July.
