Mikee Quintos on working with Paul Salas: ‘May respeto kami sa proseso ng acting’

Mikee Quintos and Paul Salas are working together on another project, the upcoming series “The Write One.”

Although this isn’t their first series together, Mikee talked more about their working relationship in an interview on “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel.”

According to the Kapuso actress, the couple does not follow any specific rules but they have an understanding.

“Sinasabi ko sa kanya na, ‘oh, pag nasa set tayo — oo, tayo pero nakita mo na ako mag-work at kung paano ako mag-work,’” she said.

“Baka kasi minsan hanapin niya yung lambing ganyan, tapos hindi ko kaya ibigay kasi teka lang, focus, like andoon ako sa character,” Mikee added.

Mikee also said that her role is different from who she is in real life, so she needs extra focus to get into character.

“Baka talagang bitawan ko muna yung pagiging Mikee, so ma-fi-feel niya yun, wina-warn ko siya na ma-fi-feel niya yun,” she said.

But at the end of the day, Mikee feels secure in her relationship.

“As long as may understanding kami sa isa't isa, and may respeto kami sa proseso ng acting and sa craft namin, I think we’re gonna make it work naman,” she said.

Last year, Paul admitted to being in a committed relationship with Mikee, and on the podcast, the Kapuso actress shared what attracted her to Paul: 'I felt seen," she said. — LA, GMA Integrated News
