Catriona Gray remembers late Miss USA Cheslie Kryst on death anniversary: 'You’re sorely missed, angel'
Catriona Gray remembered the late Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kyrst on her first death anniversary.
Sharing video clips of Cheslie on Instagram Monday, the Miss Universe 2018 expressed how much she misses her friend.
“Whispering prayers to you and your family tonight, Ches. You’re sorely missed, angel,” she wrote.
During the Miss Universe 2022 coronation this month, the organization paid tribute to Cheslie with her mom April Simpkins present.
Then, Catriona described Cheslie as “a loving daughter, a wonderful friend, and an inspiration to so many of us,” adding she was her first roommate in New York.
Cheslie passed away on January 30, 2022 after falling from a 60-story building in New York City. She was 30 years old.
