Carmina Villarroel buys Jillian Ward a pair of Gucci shoes for her 18th birthday

Carmina Villarroel is the sweetest nanay to her on-screen daughter Jillian Ward.

For her 18th birthday, Carmina was determined to give Jillian a gift — so they went shopping!

“Ayaw talaga niya," Carmina said. "Ayaw niya pero sabi ko, hindi pwedeng hindi."

“So sabi ko para pumayag siya [na reguluhan ko siya], kung di siya papayag, hindi ako pupunta sa birthday niya,” she added. “Eh wala siyang choice.”

Jillian said, “Nahihiya po talaga ako."

Carmina, however, was insistent. "Wag, kasi deserve mo 'yun."

The “Abot Kamay na Pangarap” stars met up at a mall — where they unexpectedly matched outfits — and checked out different luxury brands.

According to Carmina, Jillian loves shoes. She wanted to give her a gift that will remind her of Carmina and also something that she will use a lot.

The pair ended up at Gucci where Jillian tried on some sneakers. Carmina also scored some sandals.

“Lahat ng katrabaho ko nagiging close ko pero bihira lang 'yung ganito,” Carmina said as Jillian hugged her. “Marami na kong naging anak, kapatid, pero ewan ko ba kung bakit…”

Before leaving, Carmina and Jillian had dinner.

Jillian had a grand galaxy-themed debut at the Okada Manila last February.
