Christian Bautista shares full circle moment with Barbie Forteza

From performing at a mall show to starring in his music video, Barbie Forteza has come full circle with Christian Bautista.

In an Instagram Reel, Christian posted a throwback photo of him and Barbie singing together at a mall show. It then cuts to them recreating the photo on a set in the present day.

“Barbie, when she was young, bright eyed, full of talent and wonder, sang with me during one of my mall shows for the song ‘The way you look at me,” Christian said in his caption. “Fast forward to today, she joins the music video for Ben and Ben’s version of the same song. We have come full circle indeed."

Christian added that he is proud of Barbie.  

“I’m blessed to know she is still full of wonder. Her talent has multiplied. And yet her kindness remains. Proud of you!” he said.

Folk-pop band Ben&Ben released their version of “The Way You Look at Me,” last January, ahead of Christian’s 20th-anniversary concert.

Barbie and David Licauco, her on-screen partner from “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” will star in its music video.

The Ben&Ben song “Kayumanggi” also got a music video featuring popular scenes from the historical drama.
