Gary V on bonding with granddaughter Leia: 'How I pray she will never forget these moments'

Gary V is a truly loving “Pappie” to his granddaughter Leia.

On Instagram, Mr. Pure Energy shared one of their wholesome moments.

In the video, Gary joined Leia while she played a Zelda video game. To bond with her, Gary asks her some questions and Leia willingly explains how the game works.

According to Gary, sitting next to Leia and listening to her “is my effort in making her know just how precious she is to me.”

He added, “Hearing a child’s voice conversing and expressing this way always brings so much joy into my heart.”

Gary also saw how Leia is fast growing up, making this time all the more precious.

“This season of her life is but fleeting. She is now [six years] old and things are already changing. How I pray she will never forget these moments I’ve spent with her,” he said.

“I pray she always considers me as someone she could sit and talk to; someone she could just be herself with,” he added. “I love you so so so much Leia.”

He also used the hashtag #ThePrincessAndHerPappie.

Leia is the daughter of Paolo Valenciano and Samantha Godinez. She has a little brother named Luchiano, who Gary welcomed with some awesome "Star Wars" references.
