Maxene Magalona hears Francis M's song while in cab service: 'Hello, Papa!'

Maxene Magalona had the most touching surprise while she was in a Grab car.

The driver was playing “Cold Summer Nights” by Maxene’s late father and the Master Rapper, Francis M.

In her video on Instagram, Maxene could be heard singing along. The driver told her, “Idol na idol ko po papa niyo.”

“Awww, salamat kuya,” she replied. “Nagpaparamdam siya sa ‘tin.”

Maxene also changed the lyrics to “I miss you papa, I need you here.”

In her Instagram caption, Maxene wrote, “Salamat sa solid sound trip, kuya! Hello, Papa!”

Francis “Kiko” Magalona died in 2009 due to leukemia. The rapper’s hit songs include “Mga Kababayan,” “3 Stars and a Sun,” and “Ito ang Gusto Ko.”
