Halsey shares endearing reason why she calls SUGA of BTS her 'twin'

Halsey and BTS have the best friendship, and we just got more proof.

Following her guest appearance at the concert of Agust D — or SUGA — where they performed “SUGA’s interlude” for the first time live, Halsey shared on Instagram why she calls the BTS member “twin.”

“[After] knowing each other for [seven] years[,] I call Suga ‘twin’ for a lot of reasons. We have the same smile, we have a lot of shared interests, sometimes we even have the same haircut,” the singer said.

“But I mostly say it because we seem strangely (and sometimes wordlessly) connected on a creative wavelength,” she added.

Halsey said that seeing Agust D perform at his solo concert “was an incredible experience.”

“He is a true artist, which I’ve always known. But seeing the energy, versatility, creativity, and courageous darkness of the show blew me away,” she said.

While she performed with BTS many times before, she said she never shared the stage with Agust D alone “and never like this.”

“When the song ended all we could do was laugh because it was just a feeling of ‘woah that just happened?!’ she said.

Halsey ended her post by expressing gratitude for the experience.

“Thanks to twin for having me and thank you ARMY for, as always, singing your hearts out and making me feel right at home,” she said.

SUGA and Halsey further teased each other in the comments.

“Twin??? I'm a year older than you,” SUGA commented with laughing emojis.

“Omg how rude of me to not respect my elders. Sorry old man, [you're] right,” Halsey replied.

BTS and Halsey collaborated on the top hit “Boy With Luv,” whereas SUGA was featured on Halsey’s song “SUGA’s Interlude” from her album “Manic.”

Agust D is currently on his first solo tour, starting in the US.

The tour is in support of his album “D-Day,” which features the tracks “People Pt.2 (feat. IU),” “Haegum,” and “AMYGDALA.”
