Gay beauty queen touched with dad's support as he competes in pageant

A gay beauty queen became emotional after seeing his father's support for him as he competed in a pageant.

As seen in Katrina Son's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, Violet Huelar's dad watched him as he slayed in his swimsuit attire.

Violet, who is born Mark Christian Ramos, could not help but be teary-eyed when he saw the video of her dad Joselito among the audience.

"Bilang anak na bakla 'di ba po parang bibihira po na tatanggapin ka ng papa mo?" he said.

"'Yung ama natin handa tayo mahain kung sino at ano tayo kaya sobrang saya ko na siya ang naging ama ko," he added.

In another touching story this Father's Day, a daughter paid tribute to her dad, who is a retired teacher.

Cherilyn Robles shared a video of her dad, Teofilo, reciting his own poem on her vlog.
