Senator Win Gatchalian tells Bianca Manalo: 'No fake news will divide us apart'

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian expressed his love for girlfriend Bianca Manalo amid the controversy linking her to Rob Gomez.

In an Instagram post, Win posted a photo of his Christmas gifts from Senator Sonny Angara and his wife Tootsy — framed photos of Win and Bianca with ribbons on top.

“[Bianca] and I share the same values and principles in life,” Win said in his caption. “No fake news will divide us apart.”

In viral screenshots, Bianca, Herlene Budol, and Rob Gomez’s alleged conversations insinuated that the two actresses are having an affair with Rob. The three worked together in the GMA Afternoon Prime series “Magandang Dilag.”

Bianca addressed the rumors in a statement. She said, “Rob Gomez and I are friends and co-workers. He was going to bring Christmas gifts and I wanted to receive them early before I leave for the airport.”

“It is upsetting that our conversations were exposed without my consent, which is a breach of privacy and the cause of so much online bashing,” she added. “It is obvious that parts of our conversation were deleted to create malicious insinuations."

Earlier, Win merely said, “No comment.”

Herlene also defended herself from the accusations saying, "'Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho, gagawan ka ng issue!"

In a separate statement she added, "'Yung batuhan ng mga script para pang kabisado sa mga linyahan ay nahaluan ng mga joke at one liner tulad ng salitang 'kain' ganyan na agad ang tingin nyo sa akin. Sumakay lang ako sa mga joke dahil komedyante ako, kahit alam ko finiflirt ako."

Her former manager, Wilbert Tolentino, said that he had already reached out to Shaila Rebortera, Rob’s ex-partner and mother of their child.

Meanwhile, Rob exclusively told Pep that his phone was taken and used without his consent.

“Worse is that the person who took my phone posted pictures of mine in my own social media account pretending that I posted it with the intention of destroying my reputation," he said. “The videos as shown were among my friends and co-stars who was trying to cheer me up when I was going through a lot of hurdles in my life."

Rob’s controversies started in an interview with "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," where he said he is single but that he is courting someone.

However, Shaila later revealed that she and Rob are together and have a daughter.

The “Lovers/Liars” actor has since apologized for saying that he is single. He told Shaila and Amelia in an Instagram post, "You are not an option for me to lose. I can't wait to have you both back in my arms.”
