Camille Prats and VJ Yambao's anniversary celebration turned out to be a 'marriage masterclass'

Camille Prats and her husband VJ Yambao had a meaningful 7th anniversary celebration even though their initial plans fell through.

The actress on Instagram said that their plans “unfortunately, due to miscommunication, didn’t push through.”

“I was kinda feeling down thinking that we let our anniversary pass without doing anything special, and then last minute planning, here we are. God had a better idea in mind for our anniversary,” she said.

She shared that a few days after their anniversary, she and VJ were invited by their friends in Christ to go on a beach vacation. They were “couples who have gone through so much challenges but by God’s grace, their marriages have been restored and their lives transformed by Christ.”

“Marriage masterclass pala ang plano ni Lord,” Camille said.

During their vacation, Camille and VJ learned about other couples’ stories, and how they cope and heal from challenges.

“Hearing their stories made me realize that nothing is ever impossible with the Lord. He heals the broken-hearted, binds up their wounds and restores their joy through complete surrender,” the TV host said.

She added that no marriage is perfect, but God redeems “restores and transforms people through faith.”

“You are amazing Lord. Thank you for making our anniversary a memorable one, this is all You,” Camille said.

Camille and VJ got married in 2017. They have two kids together: Nala and Nolan.

Camille has a teen son named Nathan with Anthony Linsangan, who passed away in 2011 due to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

The couple also co-parent Ice, VJ’s teenage son from a previous relationship.

Their blended family vacationed in Japan during the holidays.
